Transport Logistics Munich (TLM) is the world's leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management. Held biennially in Munich, TLM brings together industry professionals, decision-makers, and innovators from around the globe to discuss the latest trends, developments, and business opportunities in the logistics sector. The event features a comprehensive program of exhibitions, forums, and presentations, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of logistics. With over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 70 countries, TLM offers an unparalleled platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and exploring new business prospects.

All events will be hosted at the pavilion.

Operational challenges for container terminals (Thursday 5 June, 11.00 hours)
The supply chain is all about cooperation and efficiency, but is often hampered by individual KPIs and sub-optimisation. Terminals are a hub in this, where imports and exports converge and yard density reflects both efficiency and system performance. Using shared KPIs and mutual factfinding can help companies optimise the chain, leading to better performance and lower costs for everyone. Collaboration is the key, but how do you shape that with sufficient chance of success? Renske Schoenmaker from the Port of Rotterdam Authority & Mara Vroon from APM Terminals Maasvlakte II share their insights.

Insetting as a solution to decarbonize transport (Wednesday 4 June, 14.30 hours)
René Groot Bruinderink from Goodshipping (FincoEnergies) will talk about insetting, as a solution to decarbonize transport. Overall demand for biofuels is increasing across transport modalities. This allows asset owners to reduce their scope 1 emissions, however the benefits are often difficult to translate to cargo owners for their scope 3 reduction. Insetting provides a solution. René will explain the latest trends.

Container market update (Tuesday 3 June, 11.00 hours)
What are the latest developments in the container market? Peter Sand, chief analyst at Xeneta, will give you an update on volume figures, capacity, expectation of new alliances and trade flows due to geopolitical developments. A must go to in order to get the latest updates!

This year, we offer you something special. Something to stay updated on the latest developments, but trust us: it won’t take too much of your time. More specifically: it will only take 10 minutes. At the pavilion, you are most welcome to join us for Supply Chain Talks. These talks will be hosted by René Groot Bruinderink from Goodshipping, Peter Sand from Xeneta, Mara Vroon from APM Terminals Maasvlakte II and Renske Schoenmaker from the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
