While including a 'Colophon' may seem obligatory, it is far from a mere formality. Here, we introduce you to the people who worked enthusiastically on this inaugural edition and provide you with the means to contact them.
The last content section is ‘Featured’, where we highlight the supply chain of the future.

The section ‘Meanwhile in’ unfolds on the Coolsingel (town hall), in The Hague (House of Representatives) or in Brussels (European Parliament), where the port intersects with politics. This time, we examine what is currently going on in The Hague regarding elections and the new government. In ‘Headlines’, we share our perspective on activist groups who emerge as a frequent topic in port-related headlines.
Then, we dive into the future. In ‘Hi! from the future’ we outline how we are navigating towards a sustainable future using the SDGs as our compass. We subsequently delve into the Data Safe House platform in the ‘Forward thinking’ section, as we recognise innovative technology, data and digitalisation as essential components in the ongoing transition. And the ‘Building the future’ section explores the literal construction of the port's future, with a focus on the CER.
In this edition, we start with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a towage company, where we had the unique opportunity to board a tugboat – the unsung powerhouses of the port. To underscore the significance of their nautical services: without towage companies, the seamless flow of seagoing vessels in and out of the port would come to a standstill.
